Signs of School

The signs of school are all around. Here in NJ school doesn't start until September. 

Last Friday in preparation for the upcoming school year, the kids went to get their hair cut.  Matt got his final "summer buzz cut " for the year. Emily got her bangs trimmed and over an inch of "summer abuse" trimmed from her ends. 

Emily prefers one girl, Jackie, to cut her hair. She had two people before Emily so we had to wait a bit. Matt occupied himself by giving Mario a trip in the barber's chair. He is too funny with his Mario and Angry Bird plush toys. We had to give him a bag (Dunkin Donuts) to carry all the things he likes to bring with him when he leaves the house (plush toys, DS, Ipod and headphones). 

One more school "to do" item is checked off our list.
